Hotel Reservation Network
The Museum Network is a new partnership between a leading national museum, the Wallace Collection, and four important English regional collections: The Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle; Compton Verney; the Holburne Museum of Art in Bath; and Waddesdon Manor. All five museums are located in historic buildings and four are formed from great nineteenth-century private collections. The fifth, Compton Verney, is the home of a growing collection which closely reflects the tastes of its founder Sir Peter Moores.
The Museum Network partnership seeks to enable its members to achieve more in terms of the care, presentation and use of their collections. Projects sometimes involve all five members and at other times a smaller group. Educational initiatives are at the forefront of the Museum Network’s work, including an exciting series of eLearning modules. Partners also collaborate on exhibitions and are working on projects such as greater sharing of curatorial and conservation expertise and joint marketing initiatives.
